Panel Mould 1-3/8" - 6

This modest panel mould 1-3/8" - 6 measures 1.375" in width by .687" in thickness, allowing 1-5/8" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining with an industrial moulder. The decorative design comprises a 5/16" convex arc above the 1/4" wide by 1/2" tall rabbet for the panel on the top left. The arc is tangent off of a 9/16" concave semicircle in the center joined to a 3/16" rounded corner on the design's right edge. We offer a couple of other panel moulds that complement these design features for your review and consideration, panel mould 1.625" - 16 and panel mould 3.000" - 1.

Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
